Through New Zealand Kindergartens, generations of Tamariki across Aotearoa have built confidence, curiosity, friendships, and a lifelong love of learning in inclusive, safe, play-based environments guided by qualified teachers. As the national body supporting community-based, teacher-led Kindergartens, NZK advocates for high-quality early childhood education and provides leadership and support to local Associations so every child has the chance to thrive.
For many alumni, Kindergarten was where you first discovered your voice, your strengths, and your sense of belonging.
