Dannevirke Kindergarten Association
ENABLES CHILDREN TO PROSPER AND SUCCEED
Our focus is on quality, stakeholder relationships, and sustainability. Our work will be underpinned by the principals of the Treaty of Waitangi.
The Dannevirke Kindergarten Association believes that quality learning opportunities for children are best achieved through:
- Individualised learning programmes developed from observations and through the provision of play-based, resource based, child initiated environments, following the principles of Te Whāriki.
-
Teaching Staff who hold Diploma Teaching ECE, equivalency or higher qualifications.
-
Kindergarten programmes which reflect the Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the dual heritage of Aotearoa.
-
Kindergarten environments, which acknowledge, recognise and respect the importance of other cultures and beliefs.
-
A partnership between parents/whānau, teachers and the Association.
-
A safe and nurturing environment.
-
A strong and effective transition programme from home to kindergarten and then kindergarten to school.
Our Strategic Plan 2020 – 2026
Dannevirke Kindergarten Association enables children to prosper and succeed.
